CasePack is a small Shopify app for stores that sell by the case: wine, craft drinks, coffee, and wholesale goods. It makes the combined total across a group of products land on a multiple of your pack size before checkout will complete. No more partial cases, no more apologetic emails, no more cancelled orders.
Shopify cannot do this today. Quantity rules, where they exist at all, apply to one product at a time, never to a mixed total across a whole collection or vendor. The limit apps set minimums and maximums per product. So merchants who ship in cases of 6 or 12 either hand-edit their theme to hide the checkout button, or fix bad orders by hand after the fact. One merchant, describing why they feared having to cancel half their orders, went looking for an app that enforces multiples of 6 across a vendor's mixed case. There was not one. CasePack is that app.
Pick a collection, a vendor, or a product tag. That group is your case. Tag your prepacked cases as exclusions so they never count toward the mixed total.
6, 12, or any number you ship in. Add an optional minimum, such as at least one full case, and write the message your customers see in your own words.
A progress bar in the cart shows shoppers where they stand, such as 9 of 12, so most fix it themselves. If the total is still wrong at checkout, checkout waits until it is right.
For Shopify stores that are not on Plus. Founding beta members pay nothing until launch, and keep their founding price for as long as they stay subscribed.
CasePack is being built now, and the beta list decides whether it gets finished. Leave your store address and email. If enough merchants who ship in cases sign up, the app gets built and beta members are first in, free until launch.
One email when the beta opens, one at launch. Nothing else. Unsubscribe any time.
Yes. The progress bar is a standard theme block, and enforcement runs through Shopify's own checkout validation, not theme code. Nothing is injected into your theme files.
That is the point of grouping by collection, vendor, or tag, plus exclusion tags for anything prepacked. Different groups can carry different pack sizes.
On Pro, scope a rule to a customer tag such as wholesale. Everyone else checks out normally and never sees it.
Beta members hear first. If the beta list fills, building starts immediately and the first working version follows in a matter of weeks.
